Position Overview:

The role of the Sales Representative at Boston Scientific is crafted to assist designated accounts under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager, while maintaining a close partnership with Territory Managers. The primary objective of this position is to uphold market presence at existing Boston Scientific accounts by delivering outstanding service through collaborative efforts and addressing clinical training requirements for the regional team, including conducting educational sessions.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Foster essential account relationships. Enhance these connections through regular customer engagements, product showcases, educational initiatives, procedural observations, and effective problem-solving. Relationships will be cultivated with Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, Materials Management, Hospital Administration, and Infection Control.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Management and Territory Managers to assess market conditions and sales patterns.
  • Promote the utilization of targeted technologies.
  • Achieve clinical excellence in relevant medical fields.
  • Develop and execute a proactive strategy involving service support with the Regional Manager and team members to sustain market presence and elevate service quality for clients.
  • Contribute to professional education initiatives sponsored by Boston Scientific by engaging in on-site and field training workshops.
  • Identify opportunities to communicate and present Boston Scientific information to enhance sales activities in the region.
  • Provide timely updates to the Regional Manager regarding ongoing business activities, competitive landscape, industry trends, etc.
  • Manage expense budgets and promotional budgets in accordance with guidelines.
  • Prepare comprehensive account plans that align with the overall strategy of the Urology Pelvic Health Division.
  • Maintain precise records of sales expenses, customer files, and required field sales reports.
  • Submit necessary administrative documentation promptly.
  • Conduct all sales activities in compliance with Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines, Advamed Policies, and Integrity Policies.
  • Participation in occasional weekend and evening trade shows and meetings is essential.
  • Willingness to travel as required for the role - typically 40-50% travel.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, with demonstrated leadership qualities and high adaptability.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong capability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, determined, and goal-oriented.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in business-to-business sales.
  • Completion of a sales training program or relevant degree.
  • Willingness to relocate.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
