Position Overview
The Chief Operations Officer is accountable for the comprehensive performance of all organizational functions under their oversight. This role entails the execution of Company Policies and Procedures, Strategic Planning, and Quality Assurance Initiatives. The Chief Operations Officer will also enhance financial outcomes through exceptional service delivery recognized by both external and internal stakeholders. This position will offer leadership support and resources to operations to achieve established objectives.

The Chief Operations Officer serves as a liaison with governmental representatives and provider associations, functioning as a bridge between operations and the Executive Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate operational performance and support requirements with Executive Management.
  • Analyze operations and branch personnel for alignment with and promotion of the organization's vision, mission, and values.
  • Lead all operations under their supervision to optimize revenue and EBITDA.
  • Assess and implement corrective action plans to enhance the financial performance of operations not meeting financial targets.
  • Contribute to the formulation of annual budgets and operational strategies.
  • Provide leadership support and tools to operations to meet set goals.
  • Drive business growth and increase sales to meet or exceed targets.
  • Review sales strategies and collaborate with the Corporate Sales Team on implementation tactics.
  • Identify potential growth opportunities through service expansion.
  • Coordinate staff training on systems, standard processes, and company policies.
  • Offer leadership support and guidance to operations facing performance challenges or administrative vacancies by implementing standardized processes to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
  • Establish relationships and act as a liaison between operations and the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Evaluate processes and performance metrics.
  • Effectively lead and deploy resources from the Core Team (QAM, HRS, etc.) as necessary to support operations.
  • Assist with process implementation aimed at improving performance objectives.
  • Provide support and supervision to operations with branch manager vacancies.
  • Ensure each service site develops and fully executes a targeted recruitment and retention strategy in collaboration with HR and Talent Acquisition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Business, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible experience with a proven ability to effectively manage operations, systems, processes, and personnel.
  • Three or more years of supervisory experience with at least five direct reports.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and public speaking abilities.
  • Experience in Home Care or a related healthcare field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in technology and all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertinent to the business area.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with office settings involving computers, phones, and related tasks.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% as required.
