Job Overview

Position Title: Chief Executive Officer

Reports To: Governing Board

SUMMARY OF ROLE: Accountable for the strategic planning, coordination, management, and oversight of all initiatives and programs at Excelin Health Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Directing and managing operations to guarantee the delivery of high-quality care and services.

2. Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and resource management.

3. Ensuring adherence to legal, local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.

4. Upholding ethical standards in business conduct and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

5. Recruiting, hiring, and retaining skilled personnel to ensure adequate staffing.

6. Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.

7. Ensuring that program staff are equipped with up-to-date clinical knowledge and practices, with a clinical manager available during all operational hours.

8. Overseeing the agency's quality management framework.

9. Assessing the effectiveness of services and programs.

10. Facilitating personnel development through orientation, in-service training, and ongoing education.

11. Collaborating with other departments and management as necessary.

12. Staying informed about local trends and issues affecting the organization.

13. Developing and implementing appropriate service policies.

14. Ensuring the availability of a clinical manager during all operational hours.

15. Guiding staff in their responsibilities, including patient admissions, discharges, and service provision.

16. Ensuring adequate supervision of personnel during all operational hours.

17. Verifying the accuracy of public information materials and activities.

18. Designating a qualified alternate to be available during operational hours in the absence of the administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be a licensed physician, registered nurse, or possess an undergraduate degree; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a Master's degree in healthcare or a related field is preferred.

2. Minimum of three to five years of experience in healthcare management, with at least one year in a supervisory role within home health or related programs.

3. Proven ability to supervise and lead professional and administrative staff.

4. Strong marketing skills and the ability to engage effectively with the community.

5. Knowledge of corporate management principles.

6. Excellent communication and public relations skills.
