Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers through phone and email to explore potential business opportunities.
  • Document verbal discussions with clients in writing to ensure clarity and follow-up.
  • Manage shipment bookings in compliance with international regulations.
  • Prepare and submit quotations based on customer inquiries while adhering to specified parameters.
  • Monitor profitability and ensure compliance with pricing structures.
  • Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities to management.
  • Follow up with clients regarding quotations and anticipated shipping dates.
  • Assist smaller clients in exploring their needs and potential opportunities.
  • Provide tailored solutions to meet customer requirements and promote additional services when applicable.
  • Conduct loadability checks on non-standard cargo with authorized agents.
  • Update customer information in the IT database as necessary.
  • Encourage the use of eChannel communications with customers.
  • Report any customer performance issues to management for resolution.
  • Conduct quality checks of GHA duties when assigned.
  • Complete additional support tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficient clerical and data entry skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Completion of carrier training courses is preferred.
Work Environment:
  • Office setting with collaborative teamwork.
  • Occasional exposure to varying lighting conditions.
Shift Details:
Monday to Friday with some Saturday shifts, available from 8 AM to 4:30 PM or 9 AM to 5:30 PM.
