About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Sprint Mart. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the store's operations, including inventory management, customer service, and sales performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Lead by example and demonstrate a strong work ethic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive store environment.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business results.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and department managers.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other retail software applications.
