Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at UFA Co-operative Limited. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales and inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products from vendors, as assigned.
  • Ensure that sales leads are executed to outstanding customer service standards or transferred to an outbound sales representative for completion.
  • Perform maintenance on inventory or cycle counts, including troubleshooting and problem-solving as directed.
  • Ensure store, yard, warehouses, and exterior locations are clean, neat, well-organized, and in compliance with UFA's safety and operational standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Aisle area of assigned responsibility in store to ensure UFA merchandising and inventory standards are consistently maintained or equivalent assigned area of responsibility in UFA yard and assists in merchandising decisions.
  • Perform opening/closing balancing cash procedures, including paper flow in an accurate and timely manner. Key holder responsibilities may be required.
  • Assist Customer Sales and Service Representative with minor customer service issues, responsible for CRM with regular UFA customers.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma with 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Cash handling, computer proficiency in CE, and previous customer service experience required.
  • Agriculture or AgriBusiness background, interest, and aptitude.
  • Intermediate level of product knowledge.
  • Capable of physical labor; capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
  • Warehouse or yard and forklift experience an asset.
  • Must remain current with any and all required certifications, including WHMIS and TDG.
