Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Branch Member Service Associate to join our team at NASA Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, promoting and selling our products and services, and supporting the overall success of our branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote and sell NASA Federal Credit Union products and services, including loans, deposits, and insurance products.
  • Process a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account openings.
  • Handle complex member situations, such as deceased member accounts, guardianships, and representative payee accounts.
  • Advises members on available insurance protection options, including life, disability, and gap insurance.
  • Support the Call Center queues, responding to phone and email inquiries from members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience with cash handling or bank/credit union knowledge/experience with financial products.
  • MSA I: Bank/Credit Union experience with at least 6-months of opening Personal Accounts such as savings, checking, CDs, Money Market.
  • MSA II: Bank/Credit Union experience with Broad and Advanced financial products such as Life and Disability Insurance, Gap Insurance.
  • MSA III: Bank/Credit Union experience with Advanced Accounts experience required such as HSA, IRA, and Business accounts, Loan Processing, counseling experience.

Work Environment

Typically, your schedule will include four weekdays (hours will vary with branch staffing needs). Part-time employees are scheduled to work 8:30 am - 1:30 pm every Saturday.
