About the Position:

We Are Looking For... An experienced Project Management Professional (PMP) with a robust background in implementing best practices as outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in law enforcement or public safety, showcasing exceptional leadership capabilities to manage substantial federal government contracts. This role requires proficiency in team dynamics and delegation, effectively guiding teams through comprehensive projects or specific project components. The individual will be tasked with evaluating complex project challenges and formulating innovative solutions pertaining to finance, scheduling, technology, and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit bi-monthly timecard reports to validate employee schedules and hours worked.
  • Provide a Monthly Status Report (MSR) to the government Contracting Officer (CO).
  • Assist in aligning program vacancies with the appropriate contract labor categories.
  • Monitor vacant positions, oversee candidate screening and replacement, ensuring qualifications are met.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the organization and government representatives, offering essential guidance to contractor personnel.
  • Evaluate contractor performance, providing coaching and direction as necessary.
  • Engage with government representatives to discuss contractor performance, planning, and updates.
  • Maintain schedules for all contract staff and seek necessary approvals for schedule modifications.
  • Communicate issues requiring government attention and enforce company policies with contractor personnel.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new staff and coordinate security briefings.
  • Develop strategies for application selection, systems development, and resource support.
  • Ensure project adherence to budgetary constraints and adjust parameters based on financial assessments.
  • Meet with clients to gather insights, manage expectations, and communicate project progress.
  • Establish individual and team objectives, assessing performance in accordance with HR policies.
  • Oversee all aspects of project management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline.
  • PMP Certification is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing federal contract workforces or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of cloud migration and data management practices.
  • Experience in managing federal contracts with annual values exceeding $40 million.
  • Familiarity with the Service Contract Act (SCA) and Fair Labor Standards Act.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A background in public safety or law enforcement, along with team-building experience.
  • Prior experience in contract management with government entities.
