About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Construction Managers in overseeing new development projects under construction.
  • Review and analyze "Owner Reports" from third-party owner representatives.
  • Prepare portfolio-wide reports from consultant and contractor materials, including graphic presentations and spreadsheet analysis.
  • Manage project correspondence, including ASIs, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and maintain logs as needed.
  • Support the Construction Managers with project phone calls, tracking progress of building permits, inspections, and other tasks.
  • Follow up with architects and contractors on required tasks.
  • Assist in gathering project close-out documentation.
  • Provide general assistance with project files, reports, photos, and correspondence.
  • Support data collection and entry through established project management tools.
  • Create reports, tools, and templates to support department processes and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with required training and regulations.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet and a high desire to achieve proficiency.
  • Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar is a plus.
