Job Title: Staff Medical Physicist III

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Medical Physicist III to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will be responsible for providing clinical physics support and expertise in treatment planning, dosimetry, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical physics support for treatment planning, dosimetry, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and physicists to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in professional societies and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Radiological Physics or equivalent education/experience
  • Board certification or eligibility in Medical Physics
  • 2+ years of clinical physics experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
