Job Description and Duties

The Governor's Office of Planning and Research (OPR) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Services Manager III to join our team. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for managing the human resources, procurement, contracts, business services, and fiscal operations for the Office of Community Partnerships/Admistrative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the administrative portfolio for OCPSC and advise the leadership team and program managers on the potential impact of proposed changes in the areas of oversight.
  • Provide oversight and support of the administrative requirements with tracking, transferring, auditing, and reporting of the organization's financial needs and grant programs.
  • Manage the other team members within the administrative team.
  • Perform extensive analytical and administrative supportive tasks, including budgeting, procurement, governmental functions, and organizations.
  • Develop and evaluate alternatives; schedule, prepare materials for, participate in, and prepare summaries of policy development and program management meetings.
  • Participate in the development and management of a portfolio of assigned projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

The position is eligible for telework in accordance with the OPR Telework Policy. All OPR employees must reside in California upon appointment.
