Job Title: Medical Physicist III

Sutter Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist III to join our team in Sacramento, California.

About the Role:

We are looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Medical Physicist III to support our treatment planning team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in clinical dosimetry, treatment planning, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will work closely with our radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and physicists to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using Philips Pinnacle v16.4.3 (Evolution), Mosaiq, MIM, and Radcalc.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and physicists to ensure accurate and efficient treatment delivery.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in physics and dosimetry professional societies at local and national levels.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Radiological Physics or equivalent education/experience.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Medical Physics or equivalent certification.
  • 2 years of clinical physics experience.
