Job Summary:The Staff Medical Physicist III will be responsible for providing clinical physics support to our radiation oncology team, including treatment planning, dosimetry, and quality assurance. You will work closely with our radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy.
Responsibilities:- Provide clinical physics support to radiation oncology team, including treatment planning, dosimetry, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy.
- Develop and implement treatment plans using Philips Pinnacle v Evolution, Mosaiq, MIM, and Radcalc.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure accuracy and precision of treatment plans.
- Participate in professional societies and stay up-to-date with latest advancements in radiation oncology and medical physics.
- Master's degree in Radiological Physics or equivalent education/experience.
- Board certification or eligibility in Medical Physics or equivalent certification.
- 2 years of clinical physics experience, preferably in radiation oncology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
