At Conduent State Healthcare, LLC, we are seeking a skilled Claims Department Manager to lead our medical claims processing team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing daily tasks, setting priorities, and coordinating activities to ensure timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a claims processing department to effectively and efficiently meet service level agreements.
  • Interact with Department of Health and Human Services personnel concerning claims processing functions.
  • Drive special projects for corporate, operational, or client initiatives.
  • Ensure that stated quality objectives are consistently achieved.
  • Update various performance and status reports.
  • Provide active leadership for the staff of the claims processing department.
  • Conduct counseling sessions with employees who are not meeting the minimum requirement for their position.
  • Administer annual performance reviews with employees.

Requirements:

  • Three years of experience working in a healthcare support organization.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
  • Excellent client relationship skills.
  • Leadership experience, effectively guiding and mentoring team members.
  • Understanding and application of concepts in medical claims processing and basic knowledge of other disciplines.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
