Lead Teacher for Center-Based Early Intervention Programs

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging programs and activities for groups of children with developmental challenges.
- Motivate children to engage in goal-oriented activities.
- Collaborate closely with families to provide essential information and skills to foster child development.
- Work alongside families and other service providers to meet the child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) or Early Intervention Program (EIP) objectives.
- Deliver services in a daycare environment.
- Conduct daily data collection and maintain regular progress reports.
- Participate in meetings related to the child's progress.
- Supervise a group of 5-10 children as the lead teacher and guide the teaching assistants accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Teacher of Special Education in New York State.
- Possession of a Students with Disabilities Birth-2 Certificate or LCSW/LMSW.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficient technical skills with a willingness to learn new software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Instruction is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Background in home-based programs, educational settings, or daycare facilities.
