Requirements
  • Must possess a license to practice medicine in New York State.
  • Must be certified by a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in internal medicine or a related specialty.
  • Must have a strong understanding of medical ethics and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a psychiatric hospital or mental health setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
