Our program typically requires a few hours of service per week, offering flexible scheduling with multiple 30-minute sessions available at competitive rates.

Our Exceptional Speech Department: Our speech department is composed of skilled professionals specializing in alternative and augmentative communication. The primary goal of speech-language therapy is to enhance intentional communication through the expression of ideas, sharing information, and fostering interpersonal interactions.
Early Intervention Program: Funded by the NYC Department of Health (DOH), our Early Intervention Program assists young children (birth to 3 years) facing developmental delays in learning, playing, talking, and walking. Early entry into this program is crucial for skill development, with services typically provided in home settings, daycare centers, or family day care homes. Applicants should possess knowledge of DOH guidelines when applying for this role.
Qualifications:
- Professional Speech Language Pathologist Degree (required)
- Current NYS Licensure (required)
- Experience with the NYC DOH Early Intervention Program
- Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Experience working with infants and toddlers with developmental delays
Daily Responsibilities: As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be expected to maintain a positive and enthusiastic demeanor, recognizing that communication is a vital tool for children to engage with the world around them. Your role will involve:
- Continuous evaluation of progress and treatment effectiveness to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Timely documentation of detailed reports to provide access to assessments and activities.
- Collaboration and teamwork to enhance individualized programming for each child.
