Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineering Internship at Bosch Group Inc. offers a comprehensive experience through three distinct rotations within the Manufacturing Operations and Engineering Departments.

Rotation Details:
Rotation 1: Initial training to understand all organizational roles and foster a safety-first culture within the first 60 days. Gain exposure to a manufacturing setting, including system performance reviews for enhancements, process standardization, and performance optimization. Engage in reading and creating value stream maps and layout designs, as well as standardized work documentation, 5S methodologies, SMED practices, TAKT analysis, ergonomic assessments, and standard time data management.

Rotation 2: Delve into processes and detailed work instructions, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, and participate in FMEA and control plan development. Contribute to FMEA risk mitigation and process capability enhancements, assist in tooling and machining evaluations, and engage in Six Sigma/Green Belt projects. Support tooling design and shop layouts utilizing Solidworks and AutoCAD software, with hands-on experience in machining and assembly operations.

Rotation 3: Participate in cross-functional project management for significant capital expenditure initiatives. Engage in process release planning and task execution, design, construction, and modification of manufacturing workstations and tooling, utilizing CAD programs. Gain insights into value stream design and materials planning.

Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
