Job Overview
GE Aerospace is at the forefront of innovation in the field of additive manufacturing. We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to enhance our customer relationships and ensure optimal equipment performance across the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with customer representatives to ensure satisfaction.
- Support customers throughout North and South America, with a travel expectation of 75%.
- Install, perform preventive maintenance, and repair GE Aerospace manufacturing machines, either individually or as part of a team.
- Conduct comprehensive troubleshooting on complex issues affecting machine performance.
- Coordinate all necessary resources and logistics for service and maintenance activities on customer sites.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve intricate mechanical, electrical, and process challenges.
- Assist in site preparation, ensuring all labor and materials are efficiently coordinated.
- Document all service activities using computer-based reporting systems.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, customers, and management regarding machine status.
- Adhere to quality systems and programs in line with GE Service Quality Policy.
- Complete administrative tasks punctually, including Service Bulletins and inspections documentation.
- Maintain daily communication with customer technicians to address equipment status issues.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an Associate's degree with 2 years of technical experience, or a High School Diploma with 5 years of relevant field service experience.

Preferred Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting skills at both subsystem and system levels.
- Ability to analyze test data and assist in design or process corrections.
- Proficient in interpreting technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a small team.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to manage differing opinions tactfully.
