IMS Software Developer (.NET, C#, Angular)

Job Overview:
  • The standard work schedule is anticipated to be Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Overtime is not expected.
  • This position is fully remote. Candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones are preferred.
  • Interview Process: One-hour video panel interview.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a skilled software engineering team to deliver solutions for Manufacturing Systems through both custom software applications and configured products.
  • Rapidly acquire new skills and technologies.
  • Engage effectively at various levels within project teams.
  • Create and execute unit tests for developed components.
  • Deliver solutions promptly to meet project deadlines.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with IT systems in a continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Able to translate requirements into solutions with minimal oversight.
  • Hands-on experience with source code management tools such as Git or TFS.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple issues simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Analysis.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in .NET development, with a preference for .NET Core or C# experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Systems (e.g., Client Opcenter Ex, Camstar).
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and the Angular framework is advantageous.
  • Understanding of UI design and UX principles.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL query language (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
