Instructional Specialist for Students with Emotional and Behavioral Needs

We are seeking a dedicated Instructional Specialist to join our team at UMFS, a nonprofit agency that provides comprehensive programs for high-risk children and parents. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with emotional and behavioral needs.
About the RoleAs an Instructional Specialist, you will be responsible for providing quality learning experiences to students with emotional and behavioral challenges. You will teach assigned subjects, manage classroom behavior, and implement instructional programs tailored to meet the unique needs of your students.
This is a year-round position with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our organization values work-life balance and offers generous paid leave, flexible workspaces, and comprehensive health benefits options.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fully licensed (or able to obtain a provisional license) by the Virginia Department of Education to teach in the areas to which you are assigned.
- A minimum of two years of experience teaching students with disabilities.
