Work as a Behavioral Specialist in Richmond, CA

We are hiring a Behavioral Specialist to work one-on-one with children with Autism in Richmond, CA. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will be part of our team at Maxim Healthcare Services, dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to individuals with special needs.

About the Job:

  • Help children develop social skills, communication skills, and manage repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
  • Document child progress and milestones, working closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement behavior change plans.

Requirements:

  • A strong passion for working with children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required; completion of coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in capacities such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.
