Key Responsibilities

As a Global Customer Support Specialist, your primary focus will be to meet customer needs by delivering exceptional service through proactive communication and actions. You will also ensure adherence to the standards outlined in the Immucor quality manual and relevant procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing all non-technical international customer orders, inquiries, and issues in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Documenting customer feedback meticulously as per departmental protocols.
  • Employing effective telephone techniques, actively listening to customers, and asking insightful questions to fully understand their needs.
  • Utilizing proper complaint resolution techniques by accurately identifying customer issues, proposing alternatives, and implementing solutions.

Qualifications

To excel as a Global Customer Support Specialist, you must possess the essential skills required for this role, including the ability to interact directly with customers, manage challenging situations, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Additional qualifications include:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred qualifications include college or technical school certification.
  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting standard operating procedures.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with customers and colleagues.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and phone systems.
