The Field Sales Executive plays a crucial role in advocating for the leasing and sale of truck-mounted aerial work platforms. This position is focused on nurturing relationships with our current clientele while also seeking to broaden our customer base to meet both regional and corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will establish new connections across diverse sectors such as refineries, power generation, transmission and distribution networks, and renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives for designated markets and accounts.
- Provide ongoing support and service to existing clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and documentation to align with established business processes and objectives.
- Ensure effective communication among team members, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding equipment specifications and project details.
- Foster customer and internal relationships that align with the business unit's goals.
- Develop strategic territory and call plans, along with sales activity reports.
- Build and sustain new accounts while managing existing ones.
- Prepare bids for new and ongoing projects.
- Identify and secure new market opportunities.
- Act as the primary contact for customer orders.
- Collaborate with various departments to generate sales leads.
- Occasionally assist customers in understanding equipment functionalities.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality improvement processes focusing on safety, financial performance, operations, and customer service.

- Continuously seek personal development opportunities that enhance value for customers and the organization.
- Adhere to all safety policies and company standards.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic engineering and electrical principles.
- Proven sales techniques including prospecting, objection handling, and closing.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to analyze new information for effective problem-solving.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Capability to perform mathematical calculations accurately.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret technical documents and regulations.
- Active listening skills to comprehend spoken information.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; BA or BS Degree preferred.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in sales is essential.
- Experience in selling to refineries, power plants, and electric distribution companies is advantageous.
Travel Requirements:
- Frequent driving is necessary; occasional overnight travel may be required.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Physical Demands:
- Position involves extended periods of sitting; occasional movement within the office is required.
- Standard office equipment usage, including computers and phones.
- Some physical activity related to the setup and teardown of rental equipment may be necessary.
- Ability to lift materials or equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
