Job Summary

The American Osteopathic Information Association (AOIA) is seeking a highly skilled Digital Health Coordinator to drive and support the organization's digital health innovation initiatives. This role will serve as a central point of coordination for various digital health projects, facilitating collaboration between different stakeholders and ensuring the smooth implementation of digital health strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay current with digital health trends and innovations within the osteopathic profession.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key osteopathic stakeholders in the digital health ecosystem.
  • Create and manage project plans for various digital health initiatives.
  • Prepare write-ups on digital health activities.
  • Assist in grant writing and funding applications for digital health projects.
  • Contribute to the development of digital health policies and procedures.
  • Support the execution of external volunteer and community-focused activities, Steering Committee activities, OMED Innovation Hub specialty pavilion, educational thought leadership, and programs anchored in digital health innovation, and other emerging technologies, leveraging strong customer service and program management skills.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for AOIA's Digital Health Community of Practice.
  • Support the development and execution with volunteer leaders to curate content for quarterly virtual events and manage all internal and external communications.
  • Engage and onboard new members to the community and volunteer efforts.
  • Database maintenance on member groups and general customer service.
  • Assist in the evaluation of programmatic components, report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and help analyze other data related to digital health activities.
  • Manage the account.
  • Act as a link between departments involved in digital health initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain communication channels for sharing information about activities.
  • Create and distribute newsletter/updates to appropriate stakeholder groups.
  • Collaborate with essential shared services teams, including but not limited to, marketing and communication, meetings, strategic partnerships, IT, to promote digital health activities.
  • Assist in budget planning for digital health activities.
  • Track expenses related to digital health projects, and manage resources efficiently across the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a health-related or liberal arts and sciences field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of program and/or volunteer management in a professional association or not-for-profit environment.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to effectively communicate via phone and email to a wide-ranging group of stakeholders/audiences.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated competence for assessing and managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and capacity to work independently and project manage work with minimal guidance and/or supervision on assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based situations with colleagues, volunteers (e.g., DOs) and other organizational partners.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members across the organization, other affiliate organizations and strategic partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel; experience with customer resource management tools, web-based survey tools and applications.
About AOIA

The American Osteopathic Information Association (AOIA) is a not-for-profit trade association formed in 2000 to advance the use of information technology in the practice of osteopathic medicine.

It is a 501(c)(6) tax-exempt trade association which allows the AOIA to be involved in advocacy and non-dues revenue producing activities.

As an AOA-accredited CME sponsor, the AOIA is involved in the coordination and development of AOA-accredited online CME. Membership in the AOIA is extended to all AOA members.
