Position Overview:

As an Energy Solutions Analyst, you will engage in comprehensive engineering evaluations to pinpoint and recommend strategies for addressing energy resilience deficiencies in our clients. Leverage your advanced consulting capabilities, in-depth technical acumen, and industry insights to craft inventive solutions for intricate challenges. You will operate autonomously while also mentoring and overseeing team members.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in innovation and data analytics.
  • At least 2 years of experience collaborating with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Service staff, or Joint Staff.
  • Proven experience in assessing and improving Department-wide research, development, testing, and evaluation initiatives related to operational energy.
  • Knowledge of the full range of installation or operational energy programs under OSD.
  • Ability to provide engineering and technical insights on emerging operational energy technologies and concepts, including designs, propulsion, energy storage, and alternative fuels.
  • Demonstrated capability to assess the operational energy benefits of initiatives aimed at reducing energy demand, enhancing supply chain resilience, and increasing enterprise-wide awareness of energy practices.
  • Experience in evaluating funding proposals and contributing to the creation and review of reports and testimonies for Congressional purposes concerning operational energy advancements.
  • Expertise in producing written materials, applying quantitative methodologies, facilitating effective working groups for inter-DoD coordination, and delivering cohesive and timely support for operational energy projects and leadership.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will be subject to a security evaluation and must fulfill the criteria for access to classified information.

Compensation at Booz Allen is structured based on various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience level, along with contract-specific criteria. The salary range for this position is estimated between $84,600.00 and $193,000.00 annually. This figure serves as a general guide and is just one component of the comprehensive compensation package offered by Booz Allen.
