Job Overview

Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Duro-Last is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department. This role is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on production machinery.
  • Utilize various hand and power tools to execute assigned tasks.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with equipment.
  • Maintain the facility and its associated machinery.
  • Collaborate with external maintenance service providers.
  • Ensure the work area is kept clean and organized.
  • Complete and submit requisitions for necessary materials.
  • Install and test equipment and electrical systems to verify functionality.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations set forth by federal, state, and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electrical systems is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and follow detailed instructions.
  • Experience with industrial control systems is essential.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and skilled in fabrication techniques.
  • Demonstrated excellent safety and attendance record.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
