Charleston Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to become an integral part of our team.

In the role of Payroll Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to accurately compile and maintain payroll documentation for employees at Moundsville Healthcare Center. Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing overtime, paid time off, and trade requests while liaising with Corporate Payroll as necessary.
  • Upholding the confidentiality and respect of employee information.
  • Reviewing daily exemption reports related to payroll.
  • Ensuring the precision of payroll records.
  • Generating payroll reports and distributing them to relevant department heads for their assessment.
  • Addressing inquiries from employees and department heads regarding payroll matters.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Preferred experience in payroll processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with Workday and/or Kronos is advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication abilities
