Key Responsibilities: You will undertake security officer responsibilities and oversee staff to safeguard life and property from theft, misappropriation, fire, flood, or similar incidents, while collaborating with security and law enforcement entities, adhering to all applicable regulations and directives.

Core Duties:
  1. Maintain the physical security of facilities, vehicles, and assets by inspecting doors, windows, lighting, electrical devices, equipment, locks, and emergency apparatus.
  2. Ensure accountability for students, staff, and visitors by managing check-in and check-out processes through scheduled guard station oversight.
  3. Oversee the investigation of incidents involving students and staff, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
  4. Facilitate staff training and review incident reports for clarity, completeness, and grammatical accuracy before dissemination.
  5. Assist in the transportation of students and respond to fire incidents as necessary.
  6. Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement and fire agencies.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with youth, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in computer applications.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and transport student luggage weighing up to 70 lbs., and frequently navigate stairs and outdoor environments with uneven surfaces.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
