Omni Hotels & Resorts is currently seeking a Conference Concierge for the prestigious Barton Creek Resort & Spa.

In this role, you will work closely with clients and group contacts, serving as an extension of the Banquet Operations and Conference Service teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional service that exceeds expectations.
  • Providing attentive support to VIPs and group contacts.
  • Being readily available to assist with group contracts at all times.
  • Collaborating with the banquets and setup team as needed.
  • Reviewing Daily Event Orders (BEOs) and verifying any changes.
  • Meeting daily with group contacts to address their operational needs.
  • Acting as the primary liaison between clients, group leaders, and all resort departments to ensure a successful event.
  • Managing unexpected challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Communicating any changes made by clients to relevant departments, including Banquets and Conference Managers.
  • Coordinating timely deliveries from the mailroom.
  • Ensuring all signage is correctly placed and that unused materials are stored out of sight.
  • Verifying that lighting, temperature, and ambiance meet client and resort standards.
  • Conducting audits of BEOs for proper room setup, AV, and IT configurations, and contacting departments for necessary adjustments.
  • Testing equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Walking the property regularly to monitor cleanliness and safety, reporting any issues to the appropriate departments.


Your performance will be evaluated based on key metrics such as availability, welcoming atmosphere for groups, responsiveness to last-minute requests, staff service quality, and overall event experience.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift moderate weights and stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
- Strong verbal communication skills and experience with word processing/computer applications.
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and late evenings.
