Senior Product Strategy Manager

This is a remote, US-based position.

Role Overview

The Solutions Management team spearheads product strategy and is accountable for the development and success of our offerings. We act as the pivotal point, aligning customer requirements with Lexipol's growth ambitions.

We are seeking a Senior Product Strategy Manager to direct the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of our Online Training platform during a dynamic growth phase. The ideal candidate will possess a robust SaaS Product Management background, demonstrating expertise in business strategy, delivering industry-leading products, strong analytical capabilities, and a talent for guiding cross-functional teams toward shared objectives. In this senior role, you will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to drive product innovation, market growth, revenue enhancement, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Innovation (30%)

  • Formulate and articulate a compelling product strategy that aligns with organizational goals, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Conduct customer and competitive research to gather insights.
  • Facilitate internal strategy and market intelligence discussions.
  • Provide pricing recommendations to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Drive continuous innovation, identifying opportunities for product enhancements that create competitive advantages.

Content Strategy Development (20%)

  • Develop and oversee the strategy for new content features within our Online Training solution.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and leverage data-driven insights to assess product success and identify optimization areas.
  • Encourage ongoing innovation and iteration on products.

Product Roadmap Management (20%)

  • Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features, enhancements, and new products based on business value and customer impact.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities and trends.
  • Identify new avenues for organic and inorganic growth.
  • Build business cases for new initiatives, assessing market potential and value across sectors.

Execution (20%)

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success leaders to implement go-to-market strategies and create actionable plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to enhance product performance.
  • Work cross-functionally to execute product development initiatives efficiently.

Cross-Functional Leadership (10%)

  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product strategy.
  • Guide sales and customer success teams in their efforts related to sales, renewals, and upgrades, while collaborating with product marketing to enhance the customer journey.
  • Partner with the solutions management leadership team to advocate for our products.
  • Assist in reporting and presentations for the solutions management leadership team.
  • Effectively communicate product updates, progress, and roadmaps to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in leveraging data-driven insights for product decisions.
  • Experience preparing strategy presentations for executive audiences.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills (intermediate proficiency in Excel / Tableau / Power BI preferred).
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across teams.
  • Knowledge of public safety and emerging trends is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching products is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • 1-3 years' experience as a Product Manager is advantageous.
  • Management consulting or strategy consulting experience and/or MBA preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Lexipol offers a competitive salary, performance incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) with company match and a flexible paid time off plan.

Compensation for this role ranges from $105k to $115k, plus bonuses.
