Job Summary:

The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for driving the growth and engagement of our membership and investment model.

Key responsibilities include identifying and recruiting new members, retaining current members, growing existing member relationships, and attaining/exceeding monthly and yearly membership sales goals.

You will work closely with our Business Development Team to ensure a positive onboarding experience for all new members and identify development opportunities, including membership sales, cost savings products, sponsorships, event and program attendance, and Chamber advertising.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of the Lancaster Chamber in the business community, establishing and cultivating relationships with Chamber members, staff, volunteers, and community leaders.

Additional responsibilities include managing and coordinating the recruitment and retention efforts of The Chamber Ambassadors, assisting in Chamber events and activities, and serving as a speaker at various community organizations' events.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and at least three years' experience in sales, business development, and relationship management.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to collaborate with internal team members and stakeholders.
