Our Channel organization is seeking a Channel Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will strategically plan and deliver a cross-functional strategy to engage our current and potential partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with the channel community to drive revenue growth and expand our partner ecosystem.
  2. Manage a portfolio of high-performing partners to achieve partnership goals, including sales objectives and marketing activities.
  3. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all partner-related activity within your sales regions.
  4. Be a trusted advisor and business partner to the Crane Venture Partners sales team, providing strategic guidance and support.
  5. Develop best practices to engage with partners, escalate issues, and set clear expectations with partners on working with Crane Venture Partners.
  6. Develop partner-specific account plans to include annual and quarterly goals, marketing support, requirements, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  7. Adhere to and support various program guidelines, rules, and measures to ensure successful partner engagement.
  8. Measure and report on the success of regional partners, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  9. Help with recruitment, training, and onboarding of new partners to ensure a seamless integration into our partner ecosystem.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of industry experience within partnership/alliances, sales, marketing, business development, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of direct channel sales/management experience within the SaaS space.
  3. Ability to design and present business plans, track and articulate program progress, design and document program guidelines for distribution throughout the organization (all levels) and for external use.
  4. Working knowledge of security and SaaS solutions, with a strong understanding of the channel business model.
  5. Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  6. Ability to travel up to 50%.
