Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Collaborate with the Regional Teen Director to design and implement programs that meet the needs of middle and high school students, aligning with the YMCA's mission and values.
- Program Implementation: Facilitate daily clubs and activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, and promoting the YMCA's character traits of responsibility, caring, honesty, and respect.
- Recruitment and Retention: Work with the management team to coordinate service delivery and ensure a youth-friendly environment, maintaining and monitoring enrollment and participation in Y programs.
- Training and Development: Ensure that teens participate in all required training, special events, and community collaborations, and support the Regional Teen Program Director with the recruitment of teens in the community.
- Communication: Communicate program information, problems, and concerns as they occur, and maintain open communication with the management team and Regional Teen Program Director.
- Education and Experience: 21+ years old, with youth programming experience required, and teen programming specific experience preferred.
- Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and other program-specific certifications required upon or after hire.
- Leadership Development: Develop your leadership skills in a caring, challenging, and diverse working environment.
