We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team at Be My Neighbor Mortgage. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business leads, building strong relationships with clients, and guiding them through the loan process.

About the Role:

  • Generate and convert your own business leads, utilizing internal support services to ensure seamless loan experiences for clients.
  • Evaluate clients' financial situations to recommend suitable mortgage products that meet their needs.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients throughout the loan process, explaining terms, options, and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Assist clients in preparing accurate loan applications, adhering to regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal processing and underwriting teams to facilitate efficient and timely loan approvals.
  • Stay current on mortgage products, industry regulations, and market trends to provide exceptional client service.
  • Foster strong client relationships, prioritizing long-term retention and satisfaction.
  • Comply with federal, state, and company regulations, as well as policies.
  • Effectively manage a pipeline of applications, meeting deadlines and customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending or financial services.
  • An active MLO license in at least one state, with multi-state licensing being a plus.
  • A high school diploma is required; a college degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, managing self-generated leads effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • A solid understanding of mortgage products, loan structures, and regulatory requirements.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
