Position Summary

Allied Universal Services is currently seeking an

Armed Security Operations Supervisor.

This is a full-time position within an executive office setting.

Compensation:
$31.25 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm

The

Armed Security Operations Supervisor

is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of high-quality services during a designated shift at a specific client site. This role serves as a key liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security personnel. The supervisor will manage staff on the assigned shift, providing guidance, recognition, and disciplinary actions within the approved empowerment range.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum age of 21 years with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the public
- Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice or 2+ years of experience in security, corrections, law enforcement, or military
- Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be necessary prior to employment.

As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites
- Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively
- Communicate staffing requirements during shifts to the Account Manager or Operations Manager
- Ensure that officers receive adequate training, fostering both technical and professional skill development
- Address employee grievances with support from the appropriate HR personnel and management
- Administer Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and safety programs, outlining site-specific hazards for security personnel on the assigned shift, including vehicle/driving safety as per corporate procedures
- Assist the Account or Operations Manager in managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles used at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance records.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions such as cold, rain/snow, or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as needed during shifts
- Stand or walk on diverse surfaces for extended periods
