Position Summary

We are currently seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor.

Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation: Starting at $31.25 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM

Key Responsibilities

The Armed Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of high-quality security services during a designated shift at a specific client site. This role serves as a critical link between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and the professional security team. Key duties include:

  • Supervising personnel on the assigned shift, providing guidance, recognition, and disciplinary actions within established parameters.
  • Communicating staffing requirements to the Account Manager or Operations Manager.
  • Ensuring that security officers receive adequate training to enhance both technical and professional competencies.
  • Addressing employee concerns with support from the appropriate HR representatives and management.
  • Administering safety programs and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to outline site-specific hazards for security personnel.
  • Assisting in the management of uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles, ensuring proper inventory and maintenance.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the public.
  • Possession of an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice or a minimum of 2 years of relevant security, corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Compliance with state and local licensing requirements, if applicable.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening as a condition of employment.
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client sites.
  • Capability to manage crisis situations effectively and calmly.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme weather.
  • Physical ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds, climb stairs or ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods.
