As a Certified Armed Security Officer, your role will be to protect and ensure the safety of clients in various sectors, including Educational Institutions, Healthcare, Government, and Commercial Real Estate.
Position Type: Full Time
Compensation: Starting at $25.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Certification Requirement: FDLE Guardian Certification is mandatory
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional customer service by implementing safety and security protocols, adhering to site-specific policies, and managing emergency response situations when necessary.
- Address incidents and critical situations with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding areas, adapting to varying work environments as required by the client.
- Must be at least 21 years old for armed positions.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Possess a valid Driver's License.
- Prior experience in Law Enforcement or Military service is preferred.
- FDLE Guardian Certification is required.
- Applicants will undergo a background investigation in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, candidates will be subject to a drug screening as permitted by law.
- Participation in industry-specific security and safety training programs is expected.
- Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment.
Note: A valid driver's license is necessary for driving-related positions only.
