Transportation Security Officer

As a Transportation Security Officer with the Transportation Security Administration, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the traveling public. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Screen passengers and their carry-on items for prohibited items
- Operate security equipment, such as X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers and respond to their questions and concerns
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of security checkpoints
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a U.S. citizen or national
- Pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test
- Be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
