About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to join our team at Children's Dental Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide welcoming and respectful customer service to patients and families upon arrival and dismissal.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and support staff by preparing patient charts and maintaining accurate records.
- Filing and scanning medical documents and office forms as directed.
- Verify patient demographic, health, pharmacy, and insurance information.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Clean and maintain the front office work area and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- Motivated and willing to learn on the job.
- Front desk experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a medical or dental practice preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated desire to work with children in a pediatric setting.
- Experience scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and answering multiple phone lines.
