The UW Health Infectious Disease and Immunology Clinic is committed to delivering the highest quality of care in a compassionate environment. We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team, responsible for preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs, documenting chief complaints, medications, and allergies, administering medications and treatments, and promoting healthy lifestyles and wellness education.

This position offers a salary of approximately $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, and provides opportunities for clinical and administrative continuing education, including AAMA-approved CEUs, Elsevier Skill Packages, and free weekend webinar events.

To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and one of the following qualifications: completion of an accredited medical assistant program, licensure as an LPN, completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program, attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee, acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated, or one year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA, or CCMA Certification.
