About This Opportunity

UW Health is seeking an Advanced Venous Access Nurse to join our team. As a highly specialized nursing professional, you will be responsible for assessing, inserting, and maintaining Dobhoff tubes and venous access devices for all age groups.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide consultative services and education to nursing and medical staff as needed. You will also participate in development, maintenance, and implementation of educational initiatives, policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Six months of nursing experience or current participation in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation
Work Experience

You will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including inpatient units, central float, radiology, hemodialysis, and cardiovascular laboratory. You will also have the option to participate in eICU programs.

Licenses & Certifications
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
