Job Title: Medical Support Assistant
Location: Eastpark Medical Center
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Assistant to join our team at Eastpark Medical Center. As a Medical Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care and support to our medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality patient care and support to our medical team
- Prepare patients for examination and obtain vital signs
- Document chief complaint, review/update medications and allergies
- Assist with clinic procedures and treatments for patients
- Promote healthy lifestyles and wellness
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited medical assistant program or licensure as an LPN or completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee or acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated or one year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification
Licenses and Certifications: Certified as CMA, RMA, or CCMA or eligible for certification and CPR/BLS certification
