Salary:

We offer a competitive compensation package, with an estimated salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, this position is eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated on FTE/Hours).

Job Description:

As a Medical Assistant at UW Health, you will play a vital role in providing quality, conscientious care in a fast-paced, compassionate, and patient-family centered environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs, documenting chief complaints, reviewing/updating medications and allergies, assisting with clinic procedures, and assisting nursing staff with treatments for patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program, licensure as an LPN, completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program, attainment of the CCMA certification, acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated, or one year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA, or CCMA Certification
  • Certified as CMA, RMA, or CCMA or eligible for certification
  • CPR/BLS certification
