Role Overview
The Communication Center Representative plays a critical role in supporting the operations of UW Health by serving as the initial point of contact for new patients and referring physicians, vendors, and the public. This individual will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless communication and provide exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support paging, messaging, and scheduling services for UW Health
- Provide remarkable customer service to staff, physicians, and patients
- Confirm and cancel appointments on nights, weekends, and holidays for designated clinics
- Take various calls, including connecting callers to inpatient rooms, notifying on-call physicians about organ offers, and executing emergency plans

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field
- Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Preferred qualifications include experience in a large automated call service center and familiarity with call processing software

We estimate the salary range for this position to be around $43,000 - $53,000 per year, depending on experience.
