Key Responsibilities:

  • Unlock the front office door each morning and lock it at the end of the day.
  • Retrieve office mail from the mail room, date stamp it, and distribute it to the appropriate Manager and staff.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls and manage the front desk station.
  • Initiate the new application process, review application letters, print DCAD sheets, assign log numbers, and forward all information to assigned agents.
  • Assist with the creation of Active File reports and issue log numbers.
  • Create file folders for both Senior Right Away agents and Relocation Specialists.
  • Assist in retrieving information from DCAD for agents.
  • Aid in researching Deeds and Resolutions to determine how the City acquired properties.
  • Assist in verifying Council Districts for agents.
  • Prepare Deposit forms for all income lease rental checks and post lease payments to Accounts Receivable reports.
  • Support the License Division by printing, folding, and stuffing envelopes as needed.
  • Provide support to other Administrative Team members with various tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Business, Public Administration, Arts, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in an office environment, preferably in an administrative role.
  • Excellent data entry skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent writing skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
