Position Overview

Norco, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Patient Transition Specialist. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of patient discharges from healthcare facilities, ensuring that Norco's reputation is upheld within the medical community, and serving as a vital extension of our customer service efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with discharge planners as a representative of the Sales team.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between Norco Medical and patients, their families, caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
  • Support Customer Service Representatives in coordinating necessary referrals to ensure seamless continuity of care for patients.
  • Maintain awareness of third-party reimbursement processes, service criteria, available equipment, billing practices, and patient documentation.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of products, including their placement, availability, pricing, and usage.
  • Carry out additional duties as required.

Compensation: $18-$21 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: One year of experience in home care.
  • Preferred: Experience in sales and marketing.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally over 100 lbs.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Capable of performing tasks that require manual dexterity, such as processing paperwork, filing, and sorting.
