Position Title: Patient Support Specialist - Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse

Work Schedule:
On Call - Evening and Night Shifts: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM and 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

As a Patient Support Specialist, you will provide comprehensive advocacy, crisis intervention, and essential information and referrals for individuals and families affected by sexual and physical assault or abuse.

Your role will involve collaboration with law enforcement, legal representatives, child welfare organizations, and mental health experts to enhance the response systems for victims within the community.

Additionally, you will engage in outreach and educational initiatives to inform the public about the services offered by the Intervention Center and related victimization issues. All responsibilities should be carried out in alignment with the Core Values of the Sisters of Providence.


Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline.
- A valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required for this position.
- Recent experience in supporting adult and child victims.
- Advocacy experience with victims across all age groups.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in group facilitation.
