Trusts & Estates Legal Administrative Assistant - Austin Office

Join the Jackson Walker team as a skilled Legal Administrative Assistant in our Austin office, supporting the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our attorneys, enabling them to focus on delivering outstanding results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and professional communication with clients and attorneys, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional service.
- Accurately manage timesheets, billing reviews, and submissions to ensure timely and accurate payment.
- Calendar management: coordinate travel, meetings, and appointments for attorneys, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal disruption.
- Distribute correspondence, legal documents, and manage hard copy and electronic documents.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the team.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills, enabling the management of multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and attorneys.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, particularly in Word and Outlook, with experience in document management systems (iManage experience a plus).
- Strong grammatical and writing skills, with the ability to draft and edit documents accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and documents.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred, with a high school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with prior law firm experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise and temperature.
