Job Title: Vice President Operations

Marsden Services is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Vice President of Operations to lead our operations team in the Washington and Oregon regions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations, including sales, quality, compliance, and account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property management and customer contacts to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement plans to monitor and improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost for the operation.
  • Collaborate with divisional and national sales teams to ensure mutual operational and sales goals are achieved.
  • Work closely with HR and legal departments to drive labor compliance and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Conduct regular operations staff meetings and training sessions to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Interview and recommend supervisory and management staff for positions.
  • Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions for abnormalities.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and remove production constraints to enhance productivity.
  • Regular travel to support customers and/or sales opportunities and to expand business throughout the territory.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial janitorial, facilities services, or similar service-based/multi-site industry.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a mobile role with responsibility for a decentralized workforce across multiple site locations.
  • Previous full P&L management of $20M or higher.
  • 4-year degree in Business Administration or related field highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly across the Washington and Oregon regions.
